VEER ZARA ... Simply the best ever!
Its not very usual that I sit down for 3 hours and watch a movie but VEER
ZAARA had such a hype that I decided to go to the premier and watch it and oh
boy did I enjoy it or did I enjoy it…………………………………………………….
Premier in London was originally supposed to be in presence of SRK and
Karan Johar but SRK decided to attended a premier in Bombay instead and we were
left high and dry but there was still hope as Karan was still in London but than
Karan phoned me 3 /4 days ago and said SRK has insisted that he gets back to
Bombay for the premier so Karan ji trotted back too and I was thinking should I
go or not but than one of SRK’s die hard and dedicated Fan Amy from
Wolverhampton kept on pushing me that I must go to the premier and upon his
departure Karan gave me a wad of tickets too so I was left with no
choice.
I could find no excuse so I made my way to the Cinema where there was a big
crowd and it was getting bigger and bigger I took some friends with me and there
were many other friends from the media eagerly awaiting SRK’s new
creation.
I kept on dreaming that after 3 hours my legs will freeze and I wont be
able to walk or how will I pass 3 hours there was no one I could chat with so I
resigned myself to focusing on the movie and once it started I do not know what
happened to the 3 hours and where the time went I just simply enjoyed and
thoroughly loved the movie.
SRK again at his best and this movie is going to break all records so far
its just an incredible story with such twists and turning that even a critic
like me who can usually tell what the next move will be in a movie was dumb
founded,
Brilliant content excellent acting extraordinary settings an incredible
line up and the best part is that you remain interested in the story until the
last.
As soon as the movie started Lahore (my beloved city) came on the screen
and I had tears in my eyes (how I long to go back to my city….)
Same trees same golden soil same people of Lahore and its colours and its
fragrances were highlighted……………..and you know I do not see any difference
between the two countries between two people we are all the same……….hindus,,,,
muslims…..sikhs….Christians we are all Desi people,,,, same culture same
feelings same big hearted people same values same cultures……..so why the hell do
we spend billions of dollars on creating weapons of mass destruction?????Who are
we going to kill our own people…………………………………..
It is probably one of the best stories I have ever seen with such beautiful
twists and turns that everyone watching had tears in their eyes
Everyone who walked out of the Cinema was thinking why does India and
Pakistan fight??????????????I dearly would love to find out…………………..
Shah Rukh,s acting is just brilliant he is a natural when it comes to
movies I was not impressed by Preity Zinta I thought her acting left a lot to be
desired and I wished sitting in the cinema that it was Kajol in Piety’s place
but no it was not.
Rani acted extremely well and really looked the part she really looked
Pakistani but what’s the difference between Indians and Pakistanis????
My favourite was Shaboo I just loved her role and also her acting
performance is really powerful and perfect.
Story line is just amazing and having Shah Rukh and Rani and Shaboo and
Amitabh bhachan really made it interesting.
A movie worth watching even if you cant afford three hours I strongly
recommend you watch it
