We caught up with her at London’s top art gallery STUDIO DESIGN which is situated in the middle of London’s most fashionable Royal Kensington not far from the Royals themselves.

A graduate of central St.Martin college of Art And Design London, Samiah employs an innovative technique in her paintings,
She combines vibrant colours and inspirational use of fabric patches to express themes carried over from her homeland.
Blue is Samiah’s dominant colour, but her palette also includes traditional reds and yellows. What makes her work stand out is use of fabric and threads in her paintings.
Her inspiration comes from Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Monet and Chugtai and believes art is not all about expressing the beauty in beautiful things instead her work is inspired by an intense spirituality patterns and underwater colours that dominate her creations.
Over the past decade Samiah has exhibited her work in a variety of solo and group exhibition.
She has received the unique honour of being selected as the only artist amongst all the commonwealth countries to exhibit in a solo exhibition as part of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee celebration.
One of Samiah’s paintings has been accepted to be part of the Queen’s private collection.
Samiah portrays her own personality in her work, She is a gentle, graceful and loving person and the warmth and her love for life is very obvious in choice of her colours while painting.
