I have met numerous stars and famous people in my time but never was there more pleasure in meeting Sunil Shetty than anyone else, even meeting Michael Douglas or Rod Stewart was less eventful and more of an effort than meeting Sunil Shetty. It was simply a pleasure to be in his company.

The Bollywood mega star who is known as the gentle artist and a very stable personality and a very successful enterpruner, He is at the Helm of many a business ventures so he is not in the movies for the money but thinks that let money be a by-product and he utilises it extremely shrewdly.

His first love was business but after achieving success he had to seek new challenges, New heights to conquer and nothing is more difficult to achieve than success in the movies.

Sunil is very unlike the bollywood run of the mill stars, He is a real human being and a man with a big heart. Money is never his object more of the Art of performing.

Sunil Shetty has real class, which either you have it or you don’t and he certainly does have it, I would put him in the class of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kumar the real stars who were born with a class. To people like them acting is their baandi and not the other way round.

Watching Sunil Shetty acting is a real class act he is so natural and cool and he does not go by the rule book hence some of the producers are not very happy with him, but the funny part is that he does not want to give up his style and at the same time he cares for the people who think he is breaking the rules they do call him a loveable rouge………

Sunil Shetty a real family man he loves his children his daughter Athiya and son Ahaan and his beautiful wife Mana who is not only prettier than most bollywood ladies in looks but also possess a very friendly disposition and is very much liked and respected in the Bombay’s elite circles.

Sunil Shetty and Mana Shetty compliment each other which makes their presence’s even more desirable than most Stars.

When I met Sunil recently in London I was not sure what to expect from him even though I knew he was a friendly person but wow is he friendly? Yes probably the friendliest person you will ever meet.

Once you had the pleasure of meeting him you would think as though he has known you all YOUR life and he is very down to earth which in my opinion is the quality of a real star like Dilip Kumar.

My first question to Sunil was how do you manage to be so friendly while all the pressures of being a star mount up.

His Reply was that I never forget that everyone is a human being and to treat them, as such is what God has intended us to do.

Shahid….What do you say to critics who brand you as too friendly with your Fans.

Sunil….My fan are everything I have I want to be friendly with them and that’s what I like and no critic will make me unfriendly towards my stars.

Shahid….There have lately been rumours that you wanted to quit on movies and concentrate on your business?

Sunil….Business is a form to occupy my mind and provide the bread and butter for the family but movies is my passion and I have no intentions to give up just yet.

Shahid....It’s known that you have accumulated a great mass of wealth?

Sunil….No no that’s not true I am involved with a large number of business ventures and I am very comfortable but no masses of money any where, it has never been my desire to collect large amounts of money its just a by product of hard work and honesty in business dealings.

Shahid….You are known in the industry as King of Hearts what do you say about that.

Sunil .…It’s a great feeling to have a place in peoples Heart there is nothing more rewarding in life than love and appriciation, I do things from my heart hence people pick up on that, I do not get involved with the "moviewala politics"that keeps me clean and happy with a free mind.

Shahid….It's been said that you support lots of charities in INDIA and you do it discreetly. Is it true that you donate sizeable chunks of you money to orphanges?

Sunil….Everyone does their part in life money earned is left here when you depart, I would like to keep that part discreet and private.

Shahid….You have two great children who are highlight of your day do you plan to expand on that...

Shahid....There is great majority of Pakistan movie goers who love your performance and most of them are unable to come and see you in Bombay.Do you have any plans to Visit Pakistan.

Sunil….I know admirers of my work in Pakistan amount to a large number and I get regular fan mail from Pakistan and I would love to come and visit Pakistan. As soon as its practicable I would be visiting Pakistan and will be making many many appearances in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. I think that Pakistanis and Indians should work together and create a family atmosphere in the sub-continent after all we are all the same family. I have a great love for Lahore and have heard a great deal about the quality of food there, So don’t be surprised to see me in one of the Lahori restaurants soon.

My Wife is a great admirer of Pakistani fashion and I am sure when we go to Pakistan we will be spending a great deal of time in the Shalwar kameez Shops. I am very impressed that Asian people in the west are so friendly with each other and they all come together to our shows I feel very proud to be amongst such lovely people.

Shahid….Do you have a message for the "SAHER" readers around the world?

Sunil....Yes, I Have Recently seen "Saher" on the Internet and its very impressive and standards are very high obviously that reflects that the readers of Saher are of very high Calibre. So please tell me that I admire you and love you and please pass my apriciation to them for supporting me through thick and thin. And I promise to Visit Pakistan as soon as possible and looking forward to meeting my Pakistani friends soonest.

Well at this stage Sunil was invited back to the Studios where he is doing further interviews for the Fans in England.

I was standing there for few minutes thinking is this guy for real can big movie stars be so nice and friendly and approachable. Well the truth is yes they are only Humans too to same fame goes straight to their heads and for others it’s a love affair with their ADMIRERS.

I can Assure you that you can count me in as one of his big admirers his style his work his performance his manners, everything he does reflects his greatness and his class he is a true artist and I think he is real Human Being and he never forgets that.

And I think at the end of the day that’s what’s its really all about being yourself.
