Grand opening of the famous designer store

The award-winning store opened its doors to the general public at 11am on Saturday 2nd November 2002 in London
It was such an exciting launch anyone and everyone in the media circles was talking about it.
Sunrise Radio presenters Anisa Nasar and Ricky Lobo broadcasted live from Mehndi at 1pm. Reporting from the store and talking to the Fashion Designer Deba Javaid, staff and customers. Members of the public were be given the chance to win Gift Voucher to spend at Mehndi.
The talented comedian/actress Nina Wadia launched 200 balloons in the air at 1:05 pm. Each balloon had a promotional card attached to it, which entitled customers to a 20% discount off their shopping at Mehndi.
Mehndi clothes are well known for their cutting edge designs worldwide, outfits from the London store have been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers and modelled on many catwalks.
The outfits are famous for their traditional embroidery and use of high quality fabrics. There is a vast range of styles on offer at the London store, from the classic cuts to the modern contemporary.
