Shahrukh Khan and the Forty Films         (not to be confused with Ali Baba and the forty thieves)

Judi Silva There once was an English Babu (desi mem) named Guddu, who was Chalte Chalte down the street. Ram Jaane what he was doing there at such an ungodly hour of 3 A.M., but he was nevertheless. He turned a corner into a dark alley and came face-to-face with his worse Darr. In front of him stood his enemy Asoka the Great, who just happened to be holding a huge piece of Koyla and was preparing to throw it at Guddu's head. What would be the Anjaam of this grim situation?

Well now, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, but what would Guddu do? He knew Asoka was so much stronger and had greater Shakti (the Power) than he did. Guddu had to make up his mind and fast. He thought, "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, aren't we?" And "I served in the Army for a short time too, which should work to my advantage." His mind reeled and he started to become slightly Deewana. He even started to reason, "Kal Ho Na Ho?"

His senses quickly returned as fast as they left and he came up with a strange, but good idea. "Why should I worry about this guy?" And just as any good Baazigar would do, he waved his hand in the air and said the magic words, "1 2 Ka 4," and POOF, Asoka was transformed into a beautiful woman!

Guddu couldn't believe his eyes. It actually worked. "Man, am I good or what," he thought to himself. "Nah, I'm the best." Looking at her beautiful form, he shouted, "Maya Memsaab."  He took the liberty of walking closer to her, all the while thinking, "This is one of those Mohabbatein, where Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

Maya had a slightly different idea though. "Hey, Ram," she called as she watched him approach with a nattu look in his eyes. "What do you think of yourself, coming from Pardes and walking in here like you own the place."

Guddu flashed his gorgeous smile at her and responded, "Oh Darling, Yeh Hai India. Main Hoon Na." "I don't care where we are, or if you're here or not. Your Dil To Pagal Hai. Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, and today it's naa. Besides, my King Uncle has already made plans for me to marry one of his Trimurti."

"But I speak Dil Se, Guddu pleaded. I'm not a Baadshah, surely your Dil Aashana Hai. Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. Come away with me. I'll be your Devdas, and you can be my Gaja Gamini. We can Duplicate a famous love story. And although Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, for the most part we will be happy."

Maya was almost convinced of Guddu's love for her, when Achanak, out of nowhere, three thugs named Josh, Karan, and Arjun jumped into the alley from a nearby doorway and dragged Maya away. Guddu wasted no time in chasing after them in hot pursuit. It would take a Chamatkar, but Guddu was determined to rescue his beloved. Was his Chaahat strong enough to make it happen? As he rounded the next corner, and there she was, unharmed and waiting for him. Aur kya did you expect? It's good Hindi cinema after all! Yes, boss.
