3. AO meeting - Family lunch in Paris, 4th July 2009
On a lovely, sunny day, we were all going to meet in the Kamala Inde Restaurant, in the area of Porte de Versailles, Paris.
The meeting started at 12, so we could have time to eat and spend some time with Shahidji, who had to leave to London at 2pm. The place was really nice and the tables were arranged a circle, so everyone was able face Shahidji. As a very good host, Sabine was at the door welcoming everyone. Shahidji was the center of all the attentions of course. He told us about Macao and his meeting with Shah Rukh in San Francisco. It was so interesting; we were all captivated by him. We started to eat the excellent food Anita and Surinder served us. Time flew while listening to Shahidji, chatting and taking pics.
Shahidji received a text message from Shah Rukh during the lunch, when he told him he was with us, Shah Rukh sent us all his love, which was a lovely attention.
Then unfortunately Shahidji had to leave us so, to find consolation we all went to the theatre Le Brady to watch Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. This part of the meeting was absolutely magical, we all sang the songs, clapping and whistling, it was just great. And to add to this enchanting atmosphere, Jean Marc and Sabine gave us a surprise: some of us had the chance to have a picture or a poster of Shah Rukh, by drawing lots. Then, four very talented girls came on stage and showed awesome choreographies for us during all the intermission.
After the movie, we all had a really long chat in front of the theater, the day came to an end very quickly and it was very difficult for everyone to part."
